William holds an engineering degree in Material Science from ESIR, University of Rennes, France, along having been enrolled in the European master program MaMaSELF – Master of Material Science Exploring Large Scale Facilities – graduating from both the University of Rennes and Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, Germany. He carried out a PhD (2021-2024) in Physico-Chemistry of Condensed Matter at the University of Bordeaux, France, working at CEA and ICMCB-CNRS on a thin film-based high throughput experimentation approach for Li solid electrolytes.
In 2025, William joined the Catalan Institute for Energy Research (IREC) as a Tenure-Track Postdoctoral Researcher. His current research focuses on high-throughput experimentation and machine learning processing to accelerate the discovery of bifunctional perovskite electrocatalysts for zinc–air batteries, contributing to the European project HIPERZAB.
