Carlota works on applying machine learning to the design of lanthanum oxide cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells. She is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow between the University of Toronto and the Catalonia Institute of Energy Research in the groups of Alán Aspuru-Guzik and Albert Tarancón, respectively.
Previously, she specialized in Physical Chemistry (BSc from the University of Barcelona, 2015, and MSc from Uppsala University, 2017) and worked on the characterization of electro- and photo-catalysts for renewable energy conversion and storage (PhD from Imperial College London, 2021).
