Marc Torrell received his Chemistry degree in 2004 and the PhD in 2008 in Material Science at the University of Barcelona. In 2011 received his degree as Material Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. He worked as a researcher in materials science for energy for the last 15 years. First in the CPT (www.cptub.com) at the University of Barcelona, followed by a postdoctoral stage at University of Minho, physics department (PT). Since 2013 is working in advanced materials for energy at IREC (Barcelona) focused in solid oxide fuel cells and electrolysers as well as new additive manufacturing technologies for energy devices.
