Santiago Márquez received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2021 and a master’s degree in applied materials chemistry in 2022 at the University of Barcelona. During his period as a student, he joined IREC and started to work in 3D Printing of ceramics. In September 2022 joined the Nanoionics and Fuel Cells group of Advanced Materials for Energy led by Albert Tarancón at IREC. He is a Ph.D. student of Autonomous University of Barcelona working in the field of new materials for 3D printing for SOFC and SOEC devices and new concepts of SOFC/SOEC stacks based on 3D printing electrolytes.
