Walter received his Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering in 2021 and his Master’s degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering on the topic of Renewable Energy Systems in 2023, both from Politecnico di Torino (Italy). The main focus of the degrees was on the exploitation and storage of carbon-free energy sources. He worked at IREC for his Master’s thesis and continuously, for his Ph.D, on the topic of testing and optimization of solid oxide cell stacks both in fuel cell and electrolysis mode.
